Founded in 1920 by Hans Riegel in the German city of Bonn, Haribo have grown into a large and successful company with 5 factories in Germany and 13 throughout the rest of Europe including the old Dunhill factory in Yorkshire. Today, Haribo is the biggest manufacturer of jelly sweets.
Their most famous product the Gold Bear is the younger brother of the Dancing Bear devised by Hans Reigel in 1922 and on which his initial success was built. The Dancing Bear was a bit taller and slimmer than the Gold Bear. Now Haribo produce 70 million bears every day

We stock over 12 Haribo lines all of which come in 100g or over - most Haribo now comes in pre packed bags but we like to keep to the old tradition of weigh out sweets!
