Well this is certainly the famous name in Jelly Babies and it has its loyal followers. Unfortunately the modernisers at Bassetts have tinkered with the shape and the babies now wear strange frilly little bonnets and are chubbier than they used to be. The taste is the same as ever (very sweet, rather bland) but if you want a traditional shaped baby with more of a fruit tang in the flavour we recommend that you try the Parrs version.
