Taveners - Formerly known as Monkhill Confectionary

Taveners - Formerly known as Monkhill Confectionary
Taveners also known as Tangerine, took over from Monkhill Confectionary (which was owned by Cadburys) in 2006.

The brands that it continues to make include Barratts, Mojo, Lions, Pascall, Sharps of York and Anglo Bubbly.

One of the changes the company has been making has been less artificial colouring in many of its lines. This has been seen with Barratts bananas and shrimps. The black jack and fruit salad size change was also introduced by Taveners.

Some of the sweet wrappers now have Taveners written even though they may be what we think of as another brans such as Sharps toffees. Please do not be alarmed if you find yourself in this situation - the ingredients are the same and they just the same - we promise. If not there is a money back guarentee.
